Please can someone provide me a simple step by step guide for setting up a dedicated server with ssh? Such as what to install and in what order? The OS is already installed (CentOS 6) and I have just bought the license for whm and cpanel but need to install it

You need to hire someone to do this for you or buy a managed server. If you are unsure of how to do all this, you will have issues down the road. You can check with someone like Platinumservermanagement to manage a cpanel server. I don’t know how good they are, but they are cheap.

Yes , that will install WHM/Cpanel. Further more , you will have to do the securing and hardening , optmizations etc.. to make sure whatever stuff you are going to host is secured on the server. As per the recent reply to your post hire a server management company and get these things done.

The initial installation is easy and automatic with the steps listed above. Then once it is installed, go into WHM (https://your-server-ip:2087) and follow the setup prompts (hostname, dns, etc). This will get you started.

Well I am able to install MySql, PHP with all modules and apache myself. But I need to hire a company to do the rest? Could you recommend one?
